A Credit Repair Specialist is Hard to Find! Not Any More! Read On..

A good credit repair specialist is worth their weight in gold. Find the best tips on looking for one here on this page.

Just as a good lawyer who is up-to-date on the current laws can smooth the way in a law suit or divorce, so a specialist of this kind can make the going easier when trying to repair your credit. As a first time home buyer, this could help you get that first home.

credit repair specialist Both lawyers and credit repair specialists try to fix problems. Both positions require negotiation and patience (A quality many of us do not possess!). Both must interact with adverse parties! Both must know the legal limits and the consequences of their interaction.
Increase you credit score
We all know that there are good and bad practitioners in all professions. Credit repair is no different! Just as there are disreputable attorneys (I know, I know, that was a shocker, right!), there are also disreputable credit repair specialists. The one to the left is an excellent specialist who I highly recommend. They offer quality service and they're not a scam! They can keep you focused to reach your target of raising your credit score! So if you just want to get it done and don't want to spend a lot of time doing it yourself, be sure to check them out.

Remember, there really are specialists out there who will promise you the world knowing full well that they can't deliver what they promise.

So, how do you choose a reputable specialist? Well, to begin with, you need to know what to look for. A good start in determining how to choose a specialist is to know your rights. The Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) outlines and explains your rights. The FCRA was drafted and then enacted on the premise that everyone deserves a second chance.

The Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA) regulates the actions of all credit repair companies. This Act spells out how a credit repair company may go about repairing their customers' credit. It explains what actions the credit repair company may take and in what manner. This is also helpful reading. You may obtain a copy of the CROA by visiting their website. Read up on this before beginning to search for a good specialist.

Now that you understand your rights and are equipped with the knowledge of how credit reporting companies and their representatives/specialists must operate, you can begin your search for a good specialist. During your search, keep in mind that a good credit repair specialist will never:

  • Promise certain results;

  • Promise results will be seen quickly;

  • Suggest or recommend that you create a second credit file (THIS IS ILLEGAL AND AS SUCH THE IRS FROWNS UPON ANY HINT OF A SECOND CREDIT IDENTITY!);

  • Request that you pay for services before they are provided;

  • Tell you that you cannot do the same thing yourself because only they have the know-how; and,

  • Tell you that they can erase accurate information from your credit report (only inaccurate information can be erased from your credit file).

    One good indicator that you have come across a reputable credit repair specialist is the company's longevity in helping individuals or couples with their credit repair woes. A company that has been in business for many years is most likely on the up and up. These long-standing companies will probably have a list of customers who are satisfied with the company's services and will be willing to discuss their experiences with the company with you.

    All in all, as I stated above, there are good and bad in every profession. Your assignment, if you should decide to accept it, is to read the necessary information so you are knowledgeable about what to look for in a good credit repair specialist and then to locate a suitable specialist for your credit repair work!
