My Realtor Made My Homebuying Experience Awesome!

I can honestly say that my experiences with real estate agents have not always been positive ones. In the past I have had some very harsh words for some of them. However I must say that my last homebuying experience was an absolute pleasure.

For the sake of privacy lets call our Realtor 'Joe'. Joe made what could have been a nightmare a smooth and almost seamless transaction. I was being transferred across the country and I had only a few local contacts. I had no lawyer, no banker, no plumber... well you get the ideal. But for Joe, I could have been eaten alive!

We had a three day weekend to cross the country to meet new colleagues, open a new bank account, interview two lawyers, find a house and get back again.

Well, when we arrived at the airport Joe was waiting, waving a huge red, white and blue welcome sign. Though I would have known him in any case, having goggled him more than once over the last three months.

Joe had everything in hand. Every interview, every meeting, breakfast lunch and dinner, everything arranged, including showing us 19 homes. We just sat back and went for the ride and at the end of the day not only did we find our new house but we had made new friends and with a little luck we will establish a new home.
