Buy a Home Online

by Chris
(Killeen, TX)

My story of homebuying turned out to be a wonderful experience. I am in the US Army, and while deployed to Iraq I decided to see if I could buy a home, completely online, without ever seeing it.

I know it sounds crazy, but it all worked out! I actually looked at different sites until I found a Realtor that was willing to work with me. I then looked at pictures of the homes in my price range, with the hope of finding one that I liked.

I had fun scouring through the pictures and soon found the home that I felt was perfect for me. Then the email communication started between me and the Realtor.

From there, the Realtor emailed me all the paperwork, and I was able to actually sign it over the internet! When I returned from deployment, I picked up the keys to my new wonderful home, and have loved it ever since!

It was a wonder experience. You wouldn't think it was possible to shop for a home when you are out of the country! But I'm here to tell you it can be done. What a modern age we live in. So do not let your being out of the country stop you. Just get started searching for the right people to work with you.

Remember, when you are doing your searching online, take the time to find the right Realtor and search for the right house. You will be able to find it!
