Hello. My name is Wilbert B Jr, my question is at closing with a mortgage broker do I need a closing attorney? And when buying property with a Business Name would First Time Buyer be applicable? Meaning for investing or personal study home and meetings.
=====ANSWERS=====
Hello Wilbert
I thank you for coming by and asking your questions here in my blog.
As far as having an attorney at the closing, if for some reason you do not feel comfortable with the transaction then yes, I would have an attorney present.
However, with that said, you should also have a title company involved in the transaction at closing. In most cases they have you covered as far as making sure there are no tax liens, etc. on the property.
Buying a property in a business name, well that would not make it possible to get any first time home buyer benefits. It would be looked at as an investment property.
I hope this helps.
